Industrial Awareness Thursday - MDS51

Well, it's that day, and you know what that means... Industrial!!   This weeks project is out of Germany.   The band consists of 3 members: Enrico S. (Keys/Voice/Sampling), Daniel K. (Synth/Keys/Sampling), and Mike L. (Drums/Sampling/Visuals).   The project is an darkelectro/noise/industrial type band.   They are called: MDS51! Check them out!!

Concert: Ministry

Well, what's there to say... Ministry! Excellent show! The opener was Sixxis. Not too sure what to say about them... they were alright!   This was my first Ministry concert and it's unfortunate that it'll be the last, being that as Al said; this will be their last tour as Ministry!  Honestly, I'm glad I got the chance to see them. Industrial metal pioneers! It's kinda weird, looking back at all that history and finally seeing the guys who pretty much invented industrial metal!   Here's some photos of the show:

Well, it's that day again and you know what that means... Industrial!!! This weeks project is out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. The music could be described as electronic/industrial with elements of noise. The project is headed by Tyler Johnson. The project is called D.S.M. (Distorted Synth Machine). Check it out!!

Industrial Awareness Thursday - Photophore

It's that day and I can't believe I haven't mentioned this band yet! This weeks band is out of Calgary, AB. They are an industrial/speakeasy type band. The band consists of 2 members; Evelyn Shrapnel, and Christopher William McEwan. They are called: Photophore! They have a show here in Calgary tonight (Thurs, June 4th/2015) at Broken City (613 11 AVE S.W.). Doors at: 9pm. Cover is $9.
